Media Studies
We believe pupils enjoy learning Media Studies at Fairfield. We adapt our schemes of work to suit both the interests and needs of our pupils and to reflect the rapidly changing face of mass media. Media Studies is a relatively new department but a successful one with five groups involved in GCSE.
Pupils study three main areas of Media during year 10, Film, TV and Teenage Magazines.
During year 11 pupils are involved in short film production and preparation for an exam on the Music Press
